Assigning WODs to classes and courses
Attach a program to your classes in bulk from the program page, or to a single class while creating or editing it.
A class in Thril is simply an event, either a scheduled class (a recurring class format) or, when it belongs to a course, a course class. Attaching a program to either kind of class gives it a WOD: the workout shows on the class page and athletes can log their result there. Classes themselves are created the same way as any other event, or, for a class that belongs to a course, through that course's class list.

Bulk assigning a program to classes
This is the main way to put a WOD on the schedule. From a program's page, click Assign to classes (also reachable from an empty Linked classes list). This opens a list of upcoming classes, filterable by day, event type, sport, and category. Select the classes that should run this WOD and confirm.
Because one program can be assigned to every occurrence at once, this is the fastest way to set up a recurring weekly schedule. If a selected class already has a different program, you'll be asked to confirm the overwrite first.
Course classes appear in the same list, since they're events too. Filter by event type to find a specific course's classes.
Assigning a program to a single class
When creating or editing an individual class, the Program field attaches a program to that one class, for either a scheduled class or a course class. Handy for a one-off substitution, but for anything recurring the bulk flow above is faster.
✅ Best practices
- Assign programs in bulk from the program page when setting up a recurring weekly schedule, it's faster than editing one class at a time
- Publish a program before assigning it, athletes only see published programs on the class page
- Double check the overwrite warning before confirming a bulk assignment, it's easy to accidentally replace a different week's WOD
Programs (WODs)
Compose sections into a program, the workout of the day athletes see on a class and log their results against.
