Stripe

Stripe powers all payments in Thril, providing secure processing, payout tracking, and subscription management for your venue.

๐Ÿ”— How Stripe Works with Thril

All payments made by your customers through Thril are processed by Stripe. This includes bookings, shared payments, product purchases, and more. Once collected, funds are grouped and paid out to your linked Stripe account on a regular schedule.

Youโ€™ll always have full visibility into each payment, payout, and reconciliation status.

๐Ÿ”‘ Setting Up Stripe

Stripe verification must be completed before you can start using Thril. Until verification is done, a banner is shown at the top of the portal. Once the verification is accepted, the banner disappears and your venue is ready to go live.

Stripe reviews submitted information, which can take up to 24 hours. To complete verification you will need the account holder's details and the company owner's details. Depending on the case, Stripe may also request a document from the business register (such as an invoice) and a government-issued photo ID.

๐Ÿงพ View and Track Payouts

You can view all Stripe payouts in Settings > Stripe. Each payout shows:

  • Payout ID for tracking
  • Total amount transferred
  • Status (e.g. Paid)
  • Reconciliation status so you know everything matches
  • Automatic flag if payouts are triggered automatically
  • Arrival date of funds to your bank

When you request a Stripe payout report by email (receipt icon on a payout row), you can choose Report scope: Generate full report for company or Generate report for current venue, so the attachment matches how you account for that payout.

๐Ÿ“Š Dive Deeper in the Stripe Dashboard

Need to explore individual transactions or export payout data? Simply click "Open Stripe dashboard" from the top-right corner of the Stripe settings page. There, you can:

  • See a timeline of all payments and refunds
  • Review customer payment history
  • Filter by date, method, or amount
  • Export transaction reports for bookkeeping

๐Ÿ” Subscription and Billing

Thrilโ€™s subscription plans are also billed through Stripe. You can manage:

  • Your current plan and renewal date
  • Your payment method (e.g. card on file)
  • Billing address and invoice information
  • Access to billing history and past receipts

To update your payment method or cancel your subscription, click "Manage my subscription" in the Stripe settings tab.
