Product images
Make your store products shine with the right images
Product images play a key role in purchase decisions. They help customers quickly understand what they’re buying and communicate the quality and professionalism of your offering. By following the guidelines below, you’ll ensure your products look great across all Thril views.
🖼 Add a clear and effective product image
The product image is the most important visual element of a store product. It appears in the shop, product listings, and throughout the purchase flow.
Aspect ratio
- Always use a 16:9 aspect ratio
- This ensures the image displays correctly without unwanted cropping in different views
Recommended resolution
- At least 1920 × 1080 px
- Preferably larger to keep the image sharp on large screens
- Below you can see a great example, which you should follow to expect good results.

Content
- Focus on one clear subject: the product, service, or membership
- Avoid small text or too many elements in a single image
💡 Tip: A product image is not an ad banner! Clarity works better than too much information.
🎯 Keep key elements centered
Images may be slightly cropped in different contexts (store view, mobile, listings). That’s why correct placement of important elements is essential.
Keep centered
- Logo
- Product name (if included)
- Icons or the main visual element that explains the product
Leave margins
- Leave about 15–20% empty space around the edges
- Avoid placing important elements too close to the borders
💡 Rule of thumb: If the image were cropped from each side to be 1:1 resolution, all important content should still remain visible.
🛒 Adding a product image to a store product
Images are uploaded directly in the product edit view.
- Go to Store products
- Select Edit product (e.g. balance top-up or membership)
- Find the Product image section
- Click + and upload your image
- Save changes
📌 Note: Each product can have one product image, which is shown in the store.
👀 Check before publishing
Before publishing your product:
- Make sure the image looks good on both desktop and mobile
- Check that logos or text are not too close to the edges
- Ensure the image matches the product type (e.g. membership ≠ balance top-up)
If the image feels cluttered or unclear → switch to a simpler one.
✨ Summary
- Always use a 16:9 aspect ratio
- Keep important elements centered
- Avoid edges and very small text
- Upload images from the product edit view
- Preview before saving
With these guidelines, your store products will look great and sell better 🚀
