CrossFit
See the workout of the day, log your score, compare results, and track personal records when you join a CrossFit class on Thril.
Some venues on Thril offer CrossFit. A venue like this is often called a box. Joining and booking a CrossFit class works just like any other class. If the venue has attached a workout to it, you can also see the workout and log your result.
Booking a CrossFit class works everywhere on Thril. Seeing the workout and logging results currently needs the Thril mobile app.
Seeing the workout of the day
If your class has a workout attached, it shows up under Workout program on the class page. The workout is split into parts, each one expandable, showing:
- Its type: Warm-up, Strength, Conditioning, Accessory, or Cool-down
- How it's scored: for time, AMRAP, reps, load, and so on
- The movements you'll be doing, with sets, reps, load, or distance
- A BM badge if it's a tracked benchmark workout like Fran or Murph
If you've done that part before, your best score and how many attempts you've made show up right on the card.
Logging your result
Once the class starts, tap Log result to open the Scorecard. It walks you through the workout one part at a time:
- Review the movements. Did something different? Edit them, or skip the part entirely.
- Enter your score. Each scored part gets its own step, and the input matches how that part is scored: a time for For time, rounds and reps for AMRAP, a number for Reps, or a set-by-set weight table for Load. Parts that aren't scored, like warm-ups, just get the review step. You can add a note to any part.
- Finish. Add any overall notes, pick an emoji for how the workout felt, and save.
Beat a previous best and Thril flags it as a new personal record.
Results logged from a class are recorded at RX. To log a scaled result, use Log workout below.
Logging a workout on your own
Want to log a benchmark attempt outside a class? Use Log workout from your activity feed. You build the workout yourself, choosing its type, name, and how it's scored, and you can set your own scaling: RX, Scaled, or RX+.
Seeing how everyone did
Every class with a workout has a results view listing each athlete's score, part by part, with the top three marked whenever the scoring type can be ranked. The class page also shows who's finished the workout and how they felt about it.
Tracking your progress
Your CrossFit training diary lives behind the CrossFit icon on your profile. It appears once CrossFit is one of your sports, either because you added it yourself or automatically the first time you log a workout. It has three tabs:
- My boxes: the CrossFit venues you've favorited, plus your upcoming classes that have a workout attached
- Progress: your streaks and totals, your best result per benchmark with a trend chart, and your best weight per movement
- Workouts: past and upcoming workouts, filterable by how they felt
Tap any personal record to see its full history: every attempt, with scores, scaling, and notes.
Weights entered as a percentage of your one-rep max don't count toward your per-movement records, since the actual weight depends on what your max was at the time.
